One figures that, after writing manuals, documents, and books on network security for several years, I would have learned to be more secure with my own website. Such is hardly ever the case, and my website — along with about 40,000 others — was taken down by hackers last month.
I’d like to thank them for their actions, however malicious, as it forced me to re-think how this website portal fits within the scope of my projects.
PatrickLydon.com has long been taken by some lawyer of the same name who refuses to return my emails and also refuses to use said address for an actual website. So here it is, pmlydom.com, simple as ever, and acting as a central repository for the various projects I’ve either spearheaded or become heavily involved in.
You’ll find a great deal of photography, writing, activism projects, as well as interdisciplinary work merging the photographic arts with musicians and other artists.
Take a look, have fun, let me know what you think, and thank you as always, for your support.
I’ll see you around.
