These new images are part of a series documenting natural open space near urban developments around the world. The first three are from Hiroshima, Japan; San Francisco, California; and Gangwon, South Korea (where I was filming a documentary last month, more on that later).
The project is based on the fact that our open space and natural geography is in a more precarious position than we think. It will take all of us being aware and fighting for the good of nature everywhere, in order to maintain this resource which supports us and our children in the future.
